According to El Mundo, the Portuguese was obsessed with the Argentine`s salary for several years while playing for Real Madrid.

Cristiano and his agent Jorge Mendes met Bartomeu at one of the award ceremonies, where Ronaldo asked the head of the Blaugrana how much Messi earns.
