Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic was not happy after losing with 1:3 to Lazio in the Super Cup of Italy. The Bosnian believes that the Bianconeri should play better than what they showed in this match.
'It`s disappointing because we wanted this trophy a lot. The first half was pretty even and slow-paced. Perhaps after the break, they were able to stretch us out and open more spaces for Lazio to score. We also had opportunities to lead by 2:1, but overall our performance was not good enough. We know there are things we need to improve. We need to be more robust in defense if we are to win. We also need to better control the matches.', Pjanic said.
The coach Maurizio Sarri said his players were tired and that was one of the reasons for the loss. Panic agrees with this statement.
'We weren`t fast enough with the innings compared to our previous matches prediction by algeria fixtures and standings and that made the difference.
