Roger Federer, the record holder of 20 record Grand Slam titles, said in an online conversation with his Japanese counterpart Kay Nishikori that one of his big goals for 2021 is to participate in the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo. The 39-year-old Swiss has won an Olympic gold medal in doubles (with partner Stan Wawrinka - Beijing 2008) and a silver medal in singles (London 2012), but has never in his career climbed to the top of the Olympics in the individual competition. He missed the Rio Games in 2016, and next year in Tokyo will be almost 40.




`The big plan is to be at the Olympics. That`s the big goal for me, it`s not bad that they postponed the Games a bit, given the problems I had. I really hope to go to Tokyo for the Games.
