Francisco Roig is leaving Rafael Nadal`s team of 18 years.


Roig has previously worked with Nadal`s uncle and former coach Toni, and more recently with Carlos Moya and Mark Lopez.


Roig is reportedly leaving to start a new multi-player project.


Francisco is a great coach who knows tennis well and helped me a lot to improve. I can only say thanks and wish him good luck in the new project, - said the 22-time Grand Slam champion.
